F1

Almost always used as the help key, almost every program will open the help screen when this key is pressed.
Enter CMOS Setup.
Windows Key + F1 would open the Microsoft Windows help and support center.
Open the Task Pane.

F2

In Windows renames a highlighted icon, file, or folder in all versions of Windows.
Alt + Ctrl + F2 opens document window in Microsoft Word.
Ctrl + F2 displays the print preview window in Microsoft Word.
Quickly rename a selected file or folder.

F3

Often opens a search feature for many programs including Microsoft Windows when at the Windows Desktop..
In MS-DOS or Windows command line F3 will repeat the last command.

F5

F9

Opens the Measurements toolbar in Quark 5.0.
With Mac OS 10.3 or later shows all open Windows.

Hobbit the desolation of smaug - movie review

One thing that  I liked about the  film was that each chapter of the book was covered in some depth and it seemed that Peter Jackson was giving us Tolkien fans everything we wanted and more.

   Not only we are getting our money's worth of Tolkien on the big screen but it appeared that Jackson was providing some justification for splitting a short book into three epic films,

    Although Peter Jackson takes us on a non-stop wild ride from the edge of the wilds to the Lonely Mountain in “The Desolation of Smaug”, His fan did not always agree with the twists and turns it took.  I also want to say that I was not opposed to most of the changes that were made to the canon in the Lord of the Rings trilogy films. I welcomed the addition of Arwen to the greater part of the story and the changes that were made to accommodate her. I thought most of the changes worked well. 

"Hunger games catching fire" Movie Review

The second part in the Hunger Games saga begins with enthusiasm. The
maker of the film  conjure up a world that burn the memories of
Orwell's 1984. Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) may have survived the
soldier in the first film but her prospects still seem shrill. Her
family and friends live in poverty and under harassment. Donald
Sutherland's President Snow  use her for propaganda in his brutal
regime.

In the beginning  the tone of story  telling  satirical. The production
design was very effective that it contrasts American depression-era
look of the Districts with the excesses of the Capitol. Along with
that  the film young cast is full of strong characters actors who give
full depth to the film.

Gradually , tough the film opens its contradiction. Director Lawrence
seems to be uncertain whether it is an thriller film for adult or a
teenage adventure film. the effects that they used for story telling
was increasingly cumbersome. and the film also ends abruptly that
makes us frustrated that we will be waiting for the next sequel. at
the same time the film demands credit because it was a real one and it
doesn't exploit the Suzanne Collins books. the Oscar winning star
Silver Linings really showed his star quality in the film. In all her
scenes she played Katniss with  tremendous conviction.

Thira Malayalam Movie review

Thira doesn’t meet my expectations. Actually i was not able to recollect the film to put post. But i admit Vineeth Srinivasan as a brilliant director.
After two light mood films Thira was a suspense thriller by direction Vineeth Srinivasan.  The director was able to keep the flavor of the thriller films throughout the film.

Dr. Rohini (Shobhana), a cardiac surgeon, who runs an NGO named Arpana for destitute children, is devastated by the murder of her journalist husband. She is further shell shocked, when the kids at Arpana are abducted by a mafia involved in human trafficking, that Pranab had been after for long. 

In another corner of the city, Naveen (Dhyan Sreenivasan), who arrives to meet his younger sister Riya (Amritha Anil), is stunned when she is kidnapped in the middle of the city, right in front of his eyes. With none to turn to for help, Naveen refuses to give up, and embarks on a hot chase behind the abductors.

The best moment in 'Thira' arrives when an exasperated and visibly disturbed Naveen asks Rohini, as to how such abuse could occur in broad daylight, in public spaces. Rohini's reply is serene and matter-of-fact. She merely reminds him that even those with eyes, see only that which they want to see.

The film does have its share of stunners, like the instance when Naveen walks into a hell hole to discover a young girl who is barely into her teens, tied up and terrified. She begs him not to hurt her, with sheer dread in her eyes, even as they simply refuse to shed another tear.

Characterization is perhaps the greatest flaw in 'Thira'. The narrative has plenty of hazy faces that are casually mentioned in undertones, but they never really appear on screen. A few sidekicks do make their appearance, but it never gets beyond that point. Perhaps the only argument in its favor is that it strives hard to be as real as possible, and in reality, many of these shady faces never emerge from the fog.

So it's a swift trail that Rohini and Naveen set out on, and as they run from pillar to post, the pace of the film is maintained almost even. It does whimper a couple of times, but changes gear again, and zooms to a halt at a predictable climax…

"vishudhan" Malayalam movies film!!!

       

Of the many films which i saw in the month of November the film thatpersist in my mind is VISHUDHAN. Because Vishudhan was a film itselffrom the very first short till the end frame.Its director Vyshak nevergo out from the content of the film. And that is why the film remainsin my mind even after a week from seeing it.

     vishudhan tells the story of a vakar who was enmeshed in a series ofevents due to which he was forced to marry a nun. The way Vyshakdirects the film way realy amazhing.every scene was so perfect thatthe film doesn't gave chance to its audience to make fuss in thetheater.we cant see a song for a song, a stunds for a stund or acomedy for a comedy in the film.As the director was also thescriptwriter we can see his signature in every shot.

           kunchako boban made maximum justice to the character. we can see anentirely different performance of kuchakoboban in this film.mia thefemale lead also performed well that the  performance created alasting impact in the mid of audinence
